Location: Market Way and Soledad St.
At approximately 7:55 PM, officers responded to a victim of a shooting in the area of Market Way and Soledad Street. The officers located the victim, a 37-year-old man, laying in the dirt area on the south side of Market Way near the railroad tracks suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper torso. Medical responders pronounced the victim deceased at the scene.
Detectives have identified the victim; however, his identity is being withheld pending family notification.
