An officer on patrol interrupted an armed robbery in progress at the Rodeo Market on Sherwood Dr. The suspect possibly discharged his weapon into the ground as he fled on foot. An extensive search for the suspect was made, however, he was not located. He was described as a Hispanic male, 5'7" and 150 lbs. He wore a black hooded sweatshirt, black ski mask, and dark pants. The type of weapon used was undetermined. Fortunately, the suspect did not take any property.
