A suspect entered the El Guero Taqueria armed with a black handgun. He grabbed a female clerk by the arm and pointed the gun to her head demanding money. A second clerk yelled and ran to the office, locking herself inside. The victim's scream distracted the suspect enough that the other victim was able to break free and run to a freezer, where she locked herself inside. The suspect fled without any money. Suspect described as a Hispanic male, 28-30 years old, 5'-7" tall with thin build, mustache, blue jeans, dark grey zippered hoodie with hood up and sunglasses. Suspect spoke Spanish. The case is being actively investigated and Salinas Police ask anyone any with information to call.
