Officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a white Chevrolet Malibu. The vehicle did not yeild to the lights and siren and eventually accelerated to a high rate of speed trying to evade the officer. The pursuit covered several city streets before the vehicle drove out of the city limits. The vehicle crashed through the gates of ranch land off of Old Stage Road and continued on dirt roads on the ranch property. The vehicle was able to evade the officers but was later located, several miles into the ranch. An extensive search was made of the property with the assistance of the Sheriff's Department and the Highway Patrol. One female was taken into custody and later released when it was determined she had no criminal involvement. An unidentified male and female are still outstanding.
