Members of the Salinas Police Department's Violence Suppression Unit contacted Carlos Lizano (27) in the parking lot of 140 Kern St - Motel 6. He was trespassing and acting suspiciously. He was found to be in possession of a small amount of methamphetamine and a loaded handgun. Lizano is a convicted felon and a gang member. He was lodged in county jail.
