An anonymous person called 911 on a subject seen throwing hand signs and yelling at others as they drove by, seemingly challenging others to fight. They continued to watch the subject walk south on Williams Rd while staying in contact with police dispatchers and providing updates. A Salinas Police Officer was waiting for a tow truck on an unrelated call near Alma and Williams, spotted him and guided other officers in to make contact. Christian Torres 18 was contacted and when asked if he had anything on him, Torres dropped to his knees and placed his hands behind his back. stating he had a gun in his jacket. The gun was located along with a small amount of methamphetamine and a meth pipe. Torres was arrested and booked into MoCo Jail for gun and drug charges.
