Officers responded to a report of a victim of a shooting at the intersection of Orchard Ave. and Sieber St. Officers arrived within minutes of receiving the call to find Juan Angel Perez (16) laying in the roadway next to his bicycle. Perez had been shot several times and died at the scene. 3 suspects were described as wearing dark clothing running on foot from the area. Perez has no contacts with the police and he was a student at Everett Alvarez High School. Investigators are currently working on this case and based upon the amount of onlookers at the scene at the time of the shooting it is highly probable there are witnesses who still need to come forward.
