Incident: Attempted Homicide - Shooting

Location: 1300 block of Wiren Drive
Salinas Police Officers responded to the 1300 block of Wiren regarding a victim of a shooting. No victim was found but it was determined that a shooting did occur at a residence in the 1300 block of Wiren. About the same time a victim arrived at Natividad Medical Center with a gunshot wound. The victim sustained a non-life threatening wound and is expected to survive. Officers are still trying to determine the motive of the shooting. There has not been much cooperation from the victim or involved parties.
