2013 Fall Session of the Salinas Police Community Academy
The Salinas Police Department will present a Community Academy from September 3rd, 2013 through November 19th, 2013. Each class is scheduled to last approximately 3 hours, beginning at 6:00 PM, each Tuesday night for 12 consecutive weeks.
Community Academy participants will have the opportunity to go on a ride-along with a patrol officer, observe what the Salinas Police SWAT team does, observe Crime Scene Investigators and learn what they do at a crime scene, participate in scenarios, watch a demonstration of the K9 program, learn about the hiring and training process of police officers and much more.
