At approximately 1120 hours, we received 911 calls reporting shots fired in the area of 912 Acosta Plaza, followed by calls of a victim down. Officers arrived and found Felipe Rocha Sandoval (17) shot multiple times; Sandoval succumbed to his injuries on scene. Although it was in the middle of the day, very few leads or witnesses have come forth thus far. Sandoval is the 10th homicide victim of the year and this case is being investigated as gang related.
