A 25 year old male walked into the NMC emergency room with a gunshot wound to his upper left arm. The wound was not life threatening. The victim was sitting in his car outside of a store near the intersection of E. Laurel Dr & Noice Dr when he was approached by a lone suspect who attempted to rob him at gunpoint. The victim said during the robbery he pulled away from the suspect and was shot as he moved. The suspect fled on foot and the victim drove to his North Salinas home. The victim was driven to the ER for treatment by a friend. The suspect was described as an Hispanic male adult between 25 and 30 years of age. He was further describe as being 5'-8" to 5'-10" and was last seen wearing a gray sweater and black pants.
