Earlier this morning, the Salinas Police Department released information to the press about an attempted murder in the under 100 block area of Capitol St. where a 47 year old victim was stabbed. The suspect was identified as Hector Luis Martinez, 31, of Salinas. Mr. Martinez turned himself in to the Paso Robles Police Department this evening. Detectives from the Salinas Police Department have picked him up and brought him back to Salinas. Martinez will be booked into the Monterey County Jail for the attempted murder.
