A female adult victim was shopping at JC Penney when she was approached by an elderly male (Suspect #1). They were engaged in miscellaneous conversation when they were approached by a second male who appeared to be in his 50s (Suspect #2). The two men then began to talk, and the first suspect revealed he was selling a gold bar because his wife was in the hospital. Suspect #2 said he would buy the supposed gold bar for $25,000, but the victim said she was not interested. Suspect #2 told the victim to go to her bank with him in order to retrieve money. He said he had a gun and threatened her, however, none was seen. Fearing Suspect #2 did in fact have a gun, the victim walked with him to her bank at the mall and withdrew her savings. They then walked back together to the food court, where Suspect #1 was waiting. The victim then left the area and called police. Suspect #1 was described as a Hispanic male, about 70 years old, 5 ft. tall with a thin build and gray hair. Suspect #2, was also a Hispanic male, about 50 years old, 5 ft. 4 in. tall with a heavy build and black hair. They were believed to get into a black Volvo driven by a third suspect.
